did my grandmother communicate with me through a dream?

Last year I had a dream where my pap communicated with me telling me something very important and helpful,, im not gonna share details because its too long of a dream to type and not many people would understand it. But, about a week ago, my great grandmother who i was extremely close to passed away. this morning i woke up feeling very sad but happy at the same time. i had a dream that my great grandmother was telling me to come visit her in her old house where she lived because she doesnt know where she was buried, and i need to do whatever i can to visit her. she told me she loved me and to take care of myself and she then kissed me on the forehead. she looked how i last saw her before she passed (i saw her 2 weeks before she passed away). in the dream she was a solid figure, and she was very real and alive looking. i plan on visiting her old house tomorrow and the cemetary she was buried at. but my question is, is it just a dream or do my deceased loved ones communicate with me through dreams? and how do they do this?

I think there are very rare and special dreams that can come to some of us, but like I said it is rare.

Most dreams about people who have passed on aren't really "special" in the sense that we are being visited by the actual spirit of a loved one.  But its still special because its like a live memory of the person that comse to visit us.  Its our memories, wishes, and anxieties about the person who has passed.  It sounds like you miss her dearly (thus the longing to go visit her in her house), and it shows the loving nature of the grandmotehr to kiss you on youre forehead.  it also shows your anxiety and empathy towards her about the passing.. a fear that she is "lost" or not comfortable where she's at (youre anticipating that she doesn't know where she's buried)

this dream doesn't sound like a real meeting from the spirit directly, more like a "living memory" you are invoking

I think its worth a shot because i think that some dreams could mean things ,but others could not but to put ur mind at a calm and loving memory of ur family member just go and see just incase it was a communication dream.

it means that she has come to see you and visit you and she will do so again when you need her its special for family to come and see you you are very lucky
