How much should a 2004 Mazda 6 go for?

Someone I know is selling a 2004 Mazda 6, manual transmission, and 100K miles. The car seems to be in good condition and doesn't have a history of accidents. What seems to be a fair price for this? Also how long will this usually last someone without putting lots of work into the car?

    They are very reliable cars.

    4 cylinder? $6000

    V6? $7000.

It could last up to 300,000 miles or more assuming you maintain it properly.

I drive a 2004 Mazda6 its currently worth just under 10k with 100,651 miles on it. It has given me no problems at all and is a blast to drive. I have no doubt that as long as its continued to be taken care of my 6 will see 200k+ miles
