I recently factory reset my phone but did not format its USB storage. To my surprise. Please see below, thanks?
Continued: once the reset was complete, I went to my contacts list and there was nothing there. I tried using the contacts menu to import my contacts from USB storage, SD card and SIM card but to no avail. I was wondering if there was a way to retrieve my contacts as I seem to have lost all of them. I have a samsung galaxy S2 running android 4.0.4. Many thanks in advance for any help received.

If you have a backup assistant that automatically backs up your contacts, then you can get them back. Other that that, I'm not sure how.
