Will I get into a good college?
I go to a private school in Cincinnati, Ohio and right now I have a 3.19 weighted gpa, mostly because I messed around freshman year. I'm going into my Junior year and I'm taking AP Psychology, AP Chemistry, AP World History, Honors Spanish 3, CP1 Algebra 2 & Trig, CP1 Religion 3, and CP1 English 3.
I want to become an engineer, then after I graduate and get some work experience, go to a good business school (Norte Dame, Chicago, Harvard, Dartmouth) and get my MBA.
I am pretty involved, I'm on the admissions team, which is a hand - picked group that specializes in people skills and things like that, and we run all of the camps for incoming freshmen, the HSPT Prep camp (seventh graders taking the hspt), open houses, etc.
I also do a lot with pastoral ministry. I go down to Over the Rhine (In cincinnati, very, very poor neighborhood) once a week with a group of friends and we hangout with the students at an elementary school for a few hours. I also went to Peru for two weeks on a mission trip this summer, and am planning on going to Africa for a mission trip next summer as well. I was told I will be home room captain my senior year (trying not to rely on things that aren't guaranteed) and possibly house captain senior year (We use a house system at my school, a lot like Hogwarts haha). I am also going to be put on the Pastoral Ministry Executive Board my senior year. There are a lot of other service activities I do for Pastoral Ministry, but I doubt you'll want to hear it all.
Recommendation-wise, My dad graduated from The University of Cincinnati's Engineering program (Very good Engineering school) in the top 5% of his class, and he is still very involved in the program. Then seven years later got his MBA from the University of Chicago (One of the top 5 business schools in the country). He said he can get me an internship at DOW Chemical Company, so that may help as well. I can also get a recommendation from a graduate of Harvard's business school.
I know my Freshman year is going to come back to haunt me, but I'm more focused this year than I ever have been, and My plan is to work my butt of in college in order to get into a good business school.
My ideal college plan is to go to a good engineering school (University of Cincinnati, UC Berkeley, etc.) and then work for a couple years before going to business school.
Please let me know how you think do getting into any of these colleges, and also any tips you may have that would help me pursue my goals.
Thanks
Additionally, as far as recommendations go, my dad is currently an executive at a huge cable company (not going to name it, sorry) that deals with wires and all of that fun engineering junk, and previously held an executive job at DOW. Don't know if that helps or not.
Also, I am very passionate about science and math and enjoy them a lot, so if there are any classes that you would recommend for me to take my senior year, it would be much appreciated

If you do really well on your ACT's/SAT's you have really good chance of getting into a UC school since they calculate your GPA from 10th grade up and honors/ap courses hold more weight. Since you're not a state resident you have to try and do really really really well on the SAT/ACT.This is what they say
"GPA is defined as a student's GPA in the "A-G" requirements. The average high school GPA listed for each campus is computed from 10th and 11th grade coursework, including up to eight semesters of honors courses. These GPAs are drawn from application data at the systemwide admissions office. Average exam scores are derived from the highest official reported scores."
