Do you know The Slenderman?

Nope. That's rather the point--nobody _Knows_ the Slenderman. He's not human, only human-shaped, faceless, and prone to sprouting tentacles.

And yeah, he's fictional. He's a minor side character from the horror works of H.P. Lovecraft. The Slenderman is what happens when an eldritch beast from outside the membrane of our universe--a.k.a. one of the Deep Ones--attempts to either pass for human, or send an emissary who does.

It doesn't quite work. You still end up with these alien things that make human brains have their "what is this I don't even" moments on loop. They randomly show up doing random creepy things because that's what they do...that and maiming upon bloodshed upon bloodshed.

Yes, oh my god! I learned about him just this January, thanks to my friends -__-! I can be a very curious person so of course I googled him and such, and for 2 whole days I was paranoid!! I was so scared to be alone, and I would bring my dogs in with me to the bathroom! It took like a week to forget about him, after watching documentaries and reading Wikipedia D:

No. But I just watched pictures on him on Google. It's just a faceless man in a suit with long arms.

He's supposed to be scary? He's not =/...
