How hot does it get before an ice age hits?

So, I've read, or heard somewhere (probably history channel) that before an ice age happens, a period of years before hand, the temperature oscillates between, too hot and then too cold. So what is the hottest temperature before the little ice age? I mean summer time temperature before the little ice age happened? Anyone? And, no, no "it was over 9000"....

My friend, you should not take any scientific reference from the History Channel that started the Mayan Calendar doomsday prophecy and still has a series called Ancient Aliens. This is not science!

There is no reason to believe that a global warming will lead to a new ice age. We don't know why the previous ones have happened and we certainly cannot predict a future one. All we know is that in the northern part of the northern hemisphere, the average annual temperature has increased by about one degree Celsius in the past 30 years. This seems to indicate that our fossil fuel burning could be the cause because this is where most of the vehicles of the world are polluting. Beyond that, anything else is wild speculation.

Yes, there is a slight coincidence between the sun's spot cycle of 11 years, the "low periods" of that cycle and what is called, the middle-age "little ice age." But, as you know, science can only base itself on tests that have enough sampling and that can be repeated.

When Einstein was asked if he believed the universe was expanding or contracting (before Hubble's redshift discovery) he answered: "I don't know! All I know is that it is not static; nothing is static in the universe!"

And that is why we know that the climate will continue to change, in big and smaller cycles. Did you know for example that the tide has a spring tide when the moon and the sun are on the same or opposite sides? Did you know that there is also the equinox spring tide that happens when the sun and the moon declinations are close to each other? Did you know that even in that cycle, there is another one that only repeats itself every four and half years? Well, it is the same with everything, only that we partly understand the tide because it comes and goes twice per day, but the ice ages ... take a very long time! The last one ended some 12,000 years ago!

The oil spill has no longer something to do with the periodic climatic transformations at present day going on. in case you % to start observing synthetic motives, the launch of gases from livestock international has a miles better effect, and that in the time of itself is minimum to the different motives. Why do you think of that the ice age and a tropical northern Europe befell interior the previous. in no way from synthetic effects, there have been no longer any around.
