If Kobe gets his 6th ring?

Every idiot knows that would be final proof Kobe is better than MJ and it would secure his place as the #1 GOAT for the rest of basetball history.

Of course every smart person knows that those idiots are wrong.

But what if Kobe doesn't get his 6th ring? What would that mean?

While Kobe is great, he probably isn't even in the top five greatest of all time. Jordan, obviously, was one of the greatest of all time, if not #1 ever. Bird and Magic are incredibly underrated by the current generation of young basketball fans (a generation that I'm actually part of, which is why I can't fully answer this question). And keep in mind, Wilt Chamberlain is the only person to have a season where he AVERAGED 50 points a game. But Wilt didn't do that once. He did it TWICE. And, he's the only player in history with a triple digit game in scoring. So while Kobe may very well end up with six rings, the players I named are probably better basketball players, and more deserving of the "GOAT" title.

You probably don't understand the reason why people consider michael the best ever. It wasn't just his acheivements that made him so great, or even how he made these achievement. Beyond all the buzzer beaters in big games, the numerous 40 point playoff games, the understoppability, the amazing defense, and the immense devotion to not only the game of basketball, but winning, there is one thing that most professional basketball players agree on that made jordan the greatest ever : his jump shot.

the thing about michael jordan's jump shot was that you couldn't defend it. It was one of, if not the toughest shot in basketball - the turn around fade away. half the battle was positioning himself against the best defenders in the game, almost always double teamed, and even triple teamed. he would place his bask to the basket, fake, look, step step, fake, then turn around while fading backward with a hand in his face. he hit this shot 50% of the time scoring 30+ points a game. this is what made him so great. you would think that the defense would catch on and figure out ways to defend his shot, but he would outsmart them. he couldn't be stopped with that shot. check out some of his videos on youtube

hm.... just for your information, Just because kobe

get his 6th ring don't mean he is better then Jordan.

otherwise, Horry would be better then both of them.

Jordan accomplished more then Kobe. only thing that

Kobe can really after is Jordan's all time scoring rank

    and numbers of ring.

and Jordan has far more accomplishment other then that.

when is all said and done I probably will rank kobe top 5

player of all time that is assume he won another ring/final

MVP. Jordan will still be top of the list.

and I am a Laker fan.

Kobe isn't even top 10 of all time

If he can't win a championship with the team he has right now, then that would be the biggest epic failure in the history of the nba.
