What age should a girl wear makeup?

I started wearing it at 11, but I looked much older than I am.

I think light makeup like mascara and lip gloss could start being used at around age 10. Then when a girl turns 13 she can start using eyeliner, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, etc. As long as she doesn't wear it like she's a circus clown...I think a 13 year old girl would need to know how to put on makeup and look decent when using all of those products before you can let her wear it.

13 is around the age i began donning makeup. some eye shadow, lip gloss, mascara and extremely starting up position is suitable. save in recommendations now to not over do it. it would not count number if you're 13 or 30 too a lot makeup looks inexpensive.

That depends on the society, and the female herself. I would love to say age 12 but at that age lipgloss was my best friend. At those young ages we still cling on to clear smooth skin so I wouldn't say a 12 year old should wear powder foundation blush and heavy eyeshadow. Unless you suffer from severe acne and want to cover it up. But overall, Like sophomore year in HS because that's when you start filling out like a woman should and everything falls into place.

I think 13 is a reasonable age it should be light and natural no eyeliner! She could start with wearing pimple cover up and mascara simple but effective! I sometimes wish I would have chose not to wear makeup because my friends who don't wear it have flawless skin! They are so pretty without it and sometimes makeup makes your skin worse!

I think around 13-15. It depends upon how often and heavy she plans to wear it.

12-13 but not really heavy. Maybe a little bit of eye shadow, concealer, lip gloss, and mascara.

Mac Eye Shadow Pink Freeze is by far my favorite eye shadow color. The highly pigmented pink shows well on my skin. It's the only color I use year round.

Just a bit of mascara and eyeshadow and lip gloss...no foundation or bb creams... keep your skin natural and it looks terrible caked on 12 year olds!! :)
