I just got a job and I'm 16 so I have a question about saving?
Can I open an independent checking account? Open an independent debit? Open an independemt saving account? By independent I mean without an adult as the holder of the account. My parents have taken money from me before. So I want to make one on my own. Please and thank you!

You can open a savings account by yourself, but for checking, you must be 18.
{If one bank says no, try another. The best would be a credit union, if one is available.}
