Actually, the 'For Dummies' tend to be an excellent first guide to learning something new...you just will need another more traditional reference book once you have the basics down. The Sams line is similar - good for the basics but insufficient for more advanced aspects.

There's also no reason to get both a 2nd and 4th edition of the same book...just get the most recent one (unless you can get the earlier one much cheaper).

Finally, I'd agree with the other responder...this is WAY overambitious. Narrow down your focus...in IT it's much better to be an expert in a couple of areas rather than a jack-of-all-trades.

Truthfully, I are not able to examine this to other matters that has occurred that have been method worse! I imply, people freak out over nothing. There is nothing to worry about. No one's going to die, so don't worry!!! Besides, attempt to examine the one in Yellowstone. There are various extra detrimental things in existence that we need to be clear with. For those who consider about it, there are better and more harmful volcanos we must watch out for. I live in New Jersey, and that i failed to hear about this on the information, or anyplace else. Until I see this on the news or on the climate, i will be able to seem into it, but for now...This is hard to compare to the opposite hazardous matters that has already occurred long time in the past. Not handiest that, read this!!! - They fear that a huge landslide following a main volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands would ship a 300-foot wave across the Atlantic, inflicting devastation to coastal cities and cities. British and U.S. Scientists who've issued the warning predict that, within the worst-case state of affairs, the tidal wave would spoil the coasts of Florida and Brazil. But the Western Sahara, Portugal, Spain, France and materials of the uk would even be hit. They fear that the mega-wave -- know as a tsunami -- might be generated by means of part of a mountain twice the size of britain's Isle of Man crashing into the sea following an eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma, in the Canary Islands -- a part of the Spanish island chain off West Africa. Travelling at speeds of as much as 500mph, the tsunami can be an unstoppable force and often is the largest-ever recorded in history. Prior study through Dr Simon Day, of the Benfield Greig Hazard research Centre at university tuition London estimated that a future eruption of Cumbre Vieja used to be more likely to purpose the western flank of the mountain to slip into the sea. The vigour launched by means of the fall down can be equal to the electrical power consumption of the whole U.S. In six months.

There's too much here, you need to think about what language you want to use and concentrate on that.

Also there's nothing wrong with the 'dummies' books.
