If you live in America, why ask in the Australian section? Anything for soccer anywhere should attract at least 50% tax.

There is no countrywide tax free weekend. And as far as i know none of the states are stopping their tax collections either. That is something that a specified manufacturer is promoting. They'll must pay the tax even if they don't seem to be amassing it from you. Clearly, it is a income gimmick. They might have simply as with ease mentioned that each one purchases are X percent off on a precise day. And they're charging you the tax (i.E. Full rate) seeing that they are more eager about generating foot visitors into their retailers. Again, there's no actual earnings tax exclusion. It's only a sale and it is apparently simplest legitimate within the stores themselves.
