Would you hang with an old friend that found you on the internet?

He's not an old friend, but he's my friend's cousin and I knew them when they were little. He found me on Facebook and started talking to me. Then he asked me for my number and said we should hang out sometimes. I'm not sure if it is a good a idea to hangout with him or give him my number since I really didn't remember him or care much about him. I'm all like "ehh" when I found out who he was because it was sooo many years ago. Would you hang out with someone like that??
