Lengthy process but it works (create your own) - and once you have done it once it's super easy!
1 - Go to the song you want in Itunes and choose up to a thirty second clip from the song you want (it can't be longer than thirty seconds or your phone wont accept it as a ringtone).
2 - Right click the song > Get info > Options
3 - Where it says "start time" put the time in which you want the song to start (E.G. 2:10:23) and then the end MUST BE no longer than 30 seconds after the start time. Click accept when you have done this.
4 - Right click again and click "create ACC version" this will cut the clip to be thirty seconds long and will create a new clip.
5 - Drag the new clip onto your desktop and change the end (.mp4, .mp3, etc) into a .m4r
6 - Drag it back into itunes and it should upload into "tones" tab.
7 - Plug your phone in and drag it from tones to your phone.
8 - Should now be on your phone > settings > sounds > ringtone.
Source(s): I do it. - don't forget to go back to the original clip and change the time from start to end or it'll only play those thirty seconds. - Anonymous9 years ago
Yeah! Uhm, not from the phone, well..here.
1. You need to load the 30second or less music clip into the ringtones section of the phone, from the computer.
2. Go to google, search in the song you want, and then ringtone at the end. download it, and then when its downloaded drag it into the ringtones tab in itunes on your computer.
3. Plug in your phone to your computer, sync your phone.
4. Go into settings, and then sounds, and your custom ringtone will be there :)
