Democrats have a double standard. They hold everyone else (particularly Republicans and Conservatives) to a much higher standard then they hold themselves. It's a case of do what we say, not what we do.

In fact all the born-again radicals Democrats in 1975 who handed South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia over to the Communists and celebrated their victory were the very SAME "moderate" Democrats who overwhelmingly voted FOR the Vietnam war in 1964. Talk about your double standard.

They are hypocrites who think they can defame Romney for doing exactly what they did and no one will notice their hypocrisy.

Democrats supported the Vietnam War until it became an unwinnable sink hole. Don't you know that Presidents Kennedy and Johnson sustained it for years? Your rewrite of history cannot change facts. You are commiting the fallacy of begging the question.

I don't blame anyone who didn't want to get dropped into that meat grinder. But then don't say you longed to go. Going wasn't that difficult. John Kerry somehow managed it. Romney hung out in France trying to convert people into his cult. I'm sure there were some Vietnamese who could have used saving.

BTW You know who else got 5 deferments? Cheney. It seemed he didn't like war until he was in a position to profit off of it.

Democrats started the vietnam war with Lyndon Johnston and the Republicans ended it with Richard Nixon.

Democrats will say or do anything to divert our attention from the damage they have done to our Constitution for nearly 100 years:

Democrat President Johnson’s Great Society became the largest redistribution of wealth program in our history. Obama has thrust national healthcare upon us, the hallmark of all socialist and welfare states.

25 years ago none of the above was common knowledge. It is only because of more honest, unbiased reporting on the Internet, talk radio and Fox News (all non-existent 25 years ago!) that today we know that the democrat party has been gradually changing America into a European style welfare state.

Well romney got four deferments while protesting in favor of the draft. I guess your cool he thought the draft was good for only those that could not afford college and trips to France.

In 2007 Romney said "I longed in many respects to be in Vietnam and in some ways it was frustrating not to feel like I was there as part of the troops that were fighting in Vietnam.” but Selective Service records show he received four draft deferments. They included college deferments and a 31-month stretch as a "minister of religion" in France, a classification for Mormon missionaries.

The democrats never look at their own records, like Kerry, standing over there amongst the enemy denouncing this country with GI Jane, and he could of been president. I don't think I'll ever forget this! Clinton is no war hero and Carter, well look what he did. I'm not worried about Romney, they need to realize we aren't worried about this but worried about Obama finishing off this country.

Mitt evaded the draft and then criticized the anti war protesters. Mitt is a coward and a hypocrite.
