The #1 formula brand fed in hospitals is Similac. They have different brands for every need, so google it to see.

I Used Enfamil Gentle Ease With My Son. Its Much Lighter On The Tummy Than Most Of The Other Formulas But Still Has The Proper Nutrients.

FTI 'topping off' a newborn with formula will DECREASE your milk supply, or your milk will come in far less than what baby needs. After one week you will start producing milk, right now baby needs the colostrum and nothing else.

I would ask the pediatrician as they might have one that they'd prefer for you to use. Have you tried herbs to increase your milk supply? They are the only things to work for me. I'm drinking Breastea from breastea.com and seen a good increase in production. I would call the hospital where I delivered and ask to speak to the lactation consultant!
