Spencer, that's actually a bit of 9 Pound Hammer and a bit of Kansas City Blues, a different song than Kansas City. Since you seem to be a fan of Bloomers', I highly recommend you read his book "Me & Big Joe", one of the most hilarious things I've ever read.

Dean Reed! Now there's a name I haven't heard of in years. I remember being in 9th grade, reading a student magazine article about this mysterious American-born rockstar behind the Iron Curtain.

people like to play this one when they tour here. i've seen so many live versions...but i dont see any readily available in my collection of bootlegs. but i havent cut all my bootlegs into tracks. maybe i could go through and see if i could find a version or two you wont hear elsewhere... in the meantime:
