World of Warcraft won't download? Stuck?

Okay, so I just got a new Acer laptop for playing WoW and the installation worked good and everything, but when I go into the actual download for the game it gets stuck at "Updating Tools". I left it on 13 hours and it was still stuck, I retried and retried many many times.

Anyone else have this issue with downloading the game, how can I fix it? Thanks

    Give this a try:

    1. Go into the World of Warcraft folder

    2. Delete the contents of the Temp and Updates folders

    3. Delete the Launcher.exe and Launcher.patch

    4. Run the Repair.exe and allow the process to complete

    5. Run the new Launcher.exe

    6. Allow everything to patch normally

Make sure your firewall is allowing the updater through. Sometimes it's just the firewall blocking your downloads.

I had a similar problem, except with patching. I installed Vanilla/Classic and it goes to the Cataclysm Patcher, and then it tells me that a file is missing or some crap like that.

My best bet would be to open up a ticket on the Blizzard Support page.
