What is the best way to surprise my 32 year old boyfriend in Disneyland?

We both have been to Disneyland numerous times, but this will be the first time we are going together and alone. He is an amazing man who has stuck by my side through a very rough year of medical problems and I really want to surprise him/thank him in a unique way. If anyone has any suggestions on a special Disney surprise i could set up for him I would love to hear your ideas! Thanks!!

Wow, that's really sweet and touching. I'm sure your boyfriend will be extremely touched that you wanted to do something special for him. I have several ideas that you may like for creating an unforgettable and magical experience for you and your boyfriend. I've tried to include all the information you need, from menus to prices to descriptions.

MRP had several good ideas, especially the Blue Bayou. The ambiance is very romantic and intimate. I love how the setting is described on the official Disneyland website:" Guests at the Blue Bayou sit 'outdoors' in perpetual twilight, surrounded by winking fireflies and the soothing sounds of the bayou's crickets and frogs, while boats filled with Guests heading into pirate-filled Caribbean waters drift past." Prices for entrees range from $29.99 to $43.99. You can read the menu and more about the restaurant on the official Disneyland website:

Reservations are also a good idea if you decide that you want to dine here. The line for Disney Dining #also listed on the website above# is #714# 781-3463.

Also mentioned by MRP is the Fantasmic! dessert platter. The price mentioned by many current websites claim that the price is $59.99 plus tax, but it's possible that it has increased to $80 and these websites have neglected to take into consideration the change in price. You can call Disney and inquire to confirm the actual price and reserve seating 30 days in advance by calling #714# 781-7469.

Here's an excerpt from allears.net explaining the Fantasmic! dessert package:

"The reserved seating area is located on one of the terraced areas in front of the French Market. This area seats about 50 people in 3 rows of chairs. Guests receive a box containing a selection of dessert items, such as cookies, cupcakes, cheese and crackers and fruit, as well as their choice of beverage - sodas, coffee, or hot chocolate."

Here's a link to the official Disneyland website page for Fantasmic!:

Another incredible dining option would be a World of Color dining package, if you are planning on visiting Disney California Adventure. I personally think it's a better value than the Fantasmic! dessert package and the show is equally as amazing.

There are two restaurants for the World of Color dining package: The Wine Country Trattoria and the Carthay Circle Restaurant with options for both lunch and dinner.

Here's the official Disneyland website about World of Color dining packages:

    http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneys-california...

The Wine Country Trattoria is a nice Italian restaurant. The food is a little pricey, but less expensive than Carthay Circle Restaurant. Booking a World of Coloring package includes a starter, entrée and dessert and admission into Disney Dining Reserved Viewing section in the middle of Paradise Park, where World of Color is viewed.

Here's a link to the official Disneyland site for the restaurant:

    http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneys-california...

And here's a current World of Color menu for lunch:

    and dinner:

The Carthay Circle Restaurant is themed after the Cathay Circle Theatre from the golden age of Hollywood, the inside is very elegant and classy. The purchase of either a start and an entrée or an entrée and a dessert gives you access to a Center Stage Viewing Area.

Here's the official Disneyland website about the Carthay Circle Restaurant:

    http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneys-california...

And here's the menu with prices for lunch:

    http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/men_carthay.htm

    and dinner:

Reservations are highly recommended if this is the option you decide to choose, and can be made via the Disney Dining phone number that was previously mentioned.

One last thing: there are many beautiful, secluded areas in the park. I think it would be special to steal a kiss or really tell him what he means to you in one of these romantic areas. Perhaps Snow White's Grotto with the wishing well or the secluded stair case in New Orleans Square or that little dock surrounded by pink trees by "it's a small world" nestled between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. Just find a relaxing and personal spot. I think it would be as memorable as any special dinner surprise.

I hope this helped! I will exceed the character limit with any more suggestions, but these are my favorite. Very romantic, special, and intimate: an experience that you both will never forget. Feel free to message me if you want any more suggestions for your special visit. I hope you have an absolutely magical trip to the happiest place on Earth.

You can get a celebrate pin when you buy tickets. I need more info! If your going in a few months I would suggest making reservations at Blue Bayou. You need to make them about 3 months in advance. Its near POC its absolutely amazing. Very nice(expensive). Depending how much you are willing to spend also getting fantasmic seating is AMAZING. The tickets are about 80 so if you can do it go for it. You are so sweet for thinking about your other half! I pray everything is going in the right direction for you in terms of your medical issues.
