It is said that the burqa is a symbol of traditionally conservative Afghan society and Taliban subjugation. But the burqa has also became a symbol of terrorism causing even more controversies with the Islamic faith. So now more and more European countries are trying to ban the wearing of burqas in public places and also in homes. The burqa can be seen as a symbol of faith, subjugation and most radically terrorism, and even though countries are trying to get rid of this Islamic symbol it should be left to the women wearing the burqa to decide if they want to wear it.

People who are in support of it divinize this concept. And people who oppose it demonize it. But truth can be reached only by common sense. Only women have right to say the final word on it, whether she likes to wear it or she feels it is curbing one's freedom etc. I hold the view that it is not a good idea to impose things externally and refrain people from showing their true identity(our face).
If God wanted us to hide, or not seen, then he would have very well created us blind. So both demonizing it or divinizing it are EQUALLY WRONG. Leave it to women and they will decide. Problem is that we hear some mullahs have punished some women who have failed to wear burqa and such things. Now these are the real problems if you make such things as a rule or divine law, which if broken is a blasphemy etc. These are done by mindless fanatics. Also there are bound to crop up in time if there are such rules.
Any rule should be made to facilitate us, but not to curb our basic human expression, freedom and rights. One can't say that these rules are there for our benefit, and at the same time say that, if you break the rule I'll kill you :). This is not in the good interest of humanity to be so fanatic, which unfortunately is the case.

Burqua is a type of dress which covered a person, especially this is for those women who want to be protected from naughty guys, any one can wear Burqua for her own Protaction but since Islam is taking care of its followers in every moment of life, for that it has obliged to the women who follow it to be covered either by Burqua or any kind of dress which can cover and protect them from the vision of non relative person. It is introduced by God in Quran (the Holy and True book)
the holy book says:
"And tell the believing women to lower thier gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers, of husband's fathers, or their sons or their husband's sons or their brothers or their brother's sons or sister's sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, o believers, in order that ye may succeed."

Burqua is a dress advised to be worn by a women from being exposed in public. It is essentially more prevalent with women following islam religion, in accordance with the tenet stated in their holy book Quran. The intended purposes are:
1. To safe-guard, to the extent it is possible, the women folk from the lustful glances of men-folk, a sizable number of whom are known to exhibit their animal instinct unabashedly when they look at women.
2. To restrain women-folk (though in the name of religious tenet) from exhibiting their body portions, just in the name of freedom, so that they do not fall victims to lustful guys.
We are not going to discuss the subject whether it is fair or unfair to put a restraint to the freedom of women in the choice of manner of dressing. That aspects is well known. It is a fact that there are certain unavoidable unique peculiarities of being a man as also of woman, the nature has so chosen to have; we have to admit that and wisely tackle, which is perhaps considered as more important by Quran, than the issue regarding placing restraint on the freedom of dressing. That is the wisdom behind burqua.
That day when all men folk regard women as mothers and daughters, that day when women folk understand they have to earn name not by exposing their parts, that day the requirement of burqua will not be there, I am sure.
To put it in short, burqua is a hardship women folk are made to suffer, for their own safety from the men-folk, many of whom are not dignified in their look and attitude towards women.

It has nothing to do with muslim religion, concept is to keep women isolate from society and all social activities,it must be introduced by mullahs/orthodox priests.
