Object travels 0.5h in last 1 sec, so
final velocity v = s/t =0.5h ..... [t = 1 sec]
V^2 = u ^2 + 2as ....... [ u is initial velocity equal to zero as it's a free fall ]
(h/2)^2 = 2 * 10 * h ........[ a = g = 10 m/s^2]
h/4 = 20
h = 80 m ..... [answer of (b)]
v = 0.5h = 40 m /s
v = u + at
40 = 0 + 10t
t = 4 sec
