Rumors are that once some months or so, there wont be any new video games for the Nintendo DS, DSi, and DSi XL, and in effortless words 3DS video games will be made. this is a situation for you in case you want video games like yu gi oh, pokemon, etc., b'cuz upcoming video games for those will in effortless words be made for the 3DS equipment, so its extra proper in case you get a 3DS, and as for the video games, there are flash carts for the 3DS, I extremely have a 3DS with R4iTT purple, and it extremely works with each and every of the video games. and also the flash cart's website, always has as a lot as date firmware to artwork with the present firmware updates on the equipment, so so you might not situation about that.

that was false information I'm afraid. :/ Nintendo won't make money that way so they designed i to only work in a 3DS..

depending on what ds you have, you can play old Gameboy Advance games on it though... sorry :/
