Can you suggest unusual bruschetta toppings please?

Dilemma: new man (who is a great cook) and I am a rubbish cook. I am cooking him dinner on Friday and want to make bruschetta as it is easy and he adores Italian food. Main course is sorted but I am looking for "different" toppings for bruschetta other than the normal tomato based ones, he has no allergies and does not seem to dislike any foods, please help me impress my new fella!!! Thank you

    roasted mushroom and thyme

    olive tapenade

    Try hearts of palm. They're similar to artichoke hearts (I actually like hearts of palm better). They're a little bit off the beaten path.
