Do dems realize that Ann Romney has suffered from both cancer and MS?

Jennifer Gramhole(or whatever her name is - the disastrous former gov of Michigan) & Juan Williams recently said that Ann Romney has never known struggle or despair. she appears to just be a corporate wife. Is being as ill as she has been not a struggle? why are dems not called out by the media for insensitive remarks like this?

Update:

looking at a few of these answers I find it hard to believe that the dem party is supposedly the party of compassion.

Jennifer Granholm was my state's cancer. We're glad she was cut out.

Democrats will gloat over Ann Romney's illness. They hate her because she has money and so they feel that it's deserved.

That has nothing to do with her husband's qualifications to be president. What is this, the sympathy vote? You know Jennifer Granholm was talking about Mrs. Romney's lack of a career.

She is a Stepford wife (look up the old movie if you dont know what I mean).

That performance last night was hokey and who the hell cares about her children and grandchildren. That does not qualify Mitt Bot either. That stuff should not be part of the campaign. She is using her physical problems and her children to make her husband seem like a regular guy which he could never be.

The remarks were insensitive. I'm sure despair hit her pretty hard.

I think perhaps he inelegantly meant that she never had to struggle to deal with financial repercussions of her illnesses.

I am very sorry for Ann Romney. I have suffered life threatening illnesses as well. But really what has it got to do with anything. Her husband is still a fraud.

So do I ( have cancer ) and because I loved and cared for a disabled veteran ( and would not trade that for Annie;s over sheltered life ) I am poor and she is not because Annie married a very wealthy coward

And she has been able to afford the best medical care there is. So why doesn't she want that for every American? She better than everyone else? Is she entitled to better treatment? Does her wealth make her a better American?

No offense, but Anne Romney will get NO SYMPATHY.

That b*tch has a bad attitude.

Being sick and getting cured apparently didn't cure that.

Her being sick also isn't an excuse to completely ignore Romney's p*ss poor record and give him a sympathy vote. It's funny how Republicans are all of sudden fans of the victim card (and the "victims" are worth a quarter billion dollars........lol).

Consider who owns most of the media outlets, that's why you're not going to get an apology which they should that's totally uncalled for.

The media like democrats better. They are not going to point all that out.

It's sad to watch how desperate the Democrats have become.

    The low of the low.
