What do you think of the Dream Act?

Just curious.. I hope I can a get a response from both sides of the table

    Every president had his own blunder; the Dream Act is Obama's. He probably meant well (unless he was pandering to the minority for votes), but it is not proper to grant citizenship based on "moral standing and educational background." Most acquired citizenship w/ proper paperwork and learning abridged American history (others gained citizenship by being born in America).

    That citizenship is granted w/o requiring applicants to even formally pledge allegiance to the USA is absurd.
