Chicago weather in late October?
Hi.
I'm travelling to Chicago in October and I'm just looking for a general idea on what weather to expect so I can be some what prepared? How cold will it be? Or how warm? Whatever the case may be? Would I need a heavy coat or would a light coat/mac and hat and scarf be enough? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Typical temperatures on a typical day in late October are between about 40 degrees (low) and 60 degrees (high). These can vary greatly, and you may occasionally see some frost at this time of year Other times, you may need no coat nor jacket. A "mid-range" jacket is best, but again, the weather varies. A hat might be useful, a scarf is optional. You can also expect occasional rain - but that can happen any time during non-freezing seasons.

The coldest it can get is around 40 degrees and the warmest it can get is 65 degrees (in early October). Since you're going late in the month, I'd definitely bring a some sweaters and a jacket, because it will get cooler as the month goes on.Although, you may not need them in the first week or so of the month, but you will later. I'd also bring a couple of long sleeve shirts too, just to be on the safe side, there's no need for a heavy coat in October though. You should be fine with the stuff that I mentioned.

Typical temperatures on a traditional day in overdue October are among approximately forty levels (low) and 60 levels (prime). These can differ extensively, and you may also from time to time see a few frost at the moment of 12 months Other occasions, you may also want no coat nor jacket. A "mid-variety" jacket is first-class, however once more, the elements varies. A hat possibly priceless, a shawl is not obligatory. You too can anticipate occasional rain - however that may occur any time for the duration of non-freezing seasons.

Cold ranges from 40-60 degrees, you'll need light jacket and scarf for the night but should be fine during the day.

Halloween is easy to remember. There has been Halloween days where it has been warm enough to go without a jacket, and some where it was very cold and storming. The weather can really vary. Your best bet is to check the forecast right before you leave.
