How much does Phototheraputic Keratectomy cost?
I have a scar from getting glass in my eye. I'm pretty sure this would work. T^T It's for one eye. Er, I need a ballpark price. Thanks in advance! :D

It really depends on the depth of the scar, where it is located in the cornea, and where you live. The price varies widely throughout the USA and throughout the world. For scar treatment rather than refractive correction, the price ranges from $1000 upward. $3000-$5000 is not uncommon....nor is refusal. So do not be upset if you are turned down....it will be for your own good.
If Phototheraputic Keratectomy is an option for you, depending on the location of the scar, your insurance might cover part of the cost....even if you do not have a "vision rider" on the policy...because this is considered a medical condition and a medical treatment...just as you would receive medical care for an eye infection under your health insurance, even if you did not have vision insurance.
