The right-wing nation-destroyers, a.k.a., Republicans are not ignorant of the facts, I firmly believe---at least not the ones speaking at the Convention, but they are following a spin-doctored SCRIPT loaded with "buzz" words designed to spark doubt and fear---the SNAKE in the Garden Politic. Frank Luntz, Karl Rove's ruthless operation, and Dick "dick" Armey's FreedomWorks (with some behind-the-scenes coaching and pressure from Heritage Foundation, a.k.a., The Family/Youth With A Mission cult that controls every move made by these extremists in control of the GOP) have worked out the propaganda ahead of time, trying to prey upon American people's tendency to "groupthink" and to operate out of the aforementioned doubt and fear. I hope the American people are NOT as gullible as these propaganda specialists believe. I hope they actually LISTEN to the always-fail policies being proposed by the GOP---the very same ones that took this nation over a cliff from 2001 through 2008 but, like President Obama has said, "this time on steroids" (enhanced intensity).
I hope the American people set aside all propaganda and go to http://obamaachievements.org/line (click on each line of information) and the whitehouse.org and recovery.gov websites. This GOP-wounded nation NEEDS to have President Obama elected for his well-deserved second term, but we also need to wrest our Congress out of the hands of the FISCALLY ILLITERATE right-wingers long enough to get some momentum for our slow-but-steady recovery---a recovery made possible by the previous 111th Congress (in control of the Democrats) and President Obama's reversal of the always-fail GOP policies in place during the Bush/Cheney years.
