Did blackpool zoo used to have a polar bear?

Im sure when I was a kid in the 80's there was a polar bear there. No one else remembers one. Im confused but sure I saw one there

    I'm sure there was a polar bear there too,seem to remember taking my lads there in the early 90's and seeing a lone female bear. She paced back and forth,as regular as clockwork and I remember feeling that it was no existence for her. She was old then and think died a few years later.

    Chester zoo used to have one. Not sure about Blackpool.
