Is The Sims 3 a fun game worth buying?

Sim's 3 is overall a pretty good game, it has a pretty large customizing feature for when your starting to create a new family, in which you can design 5 people to live in a house with each other and you can create the relations with each other in the creation menu. *father daughter son mother*, Theirs a lot to explore in the game, and many different features. One difference i know of from sims 2 in sim3 is that they added karma powers which allow you to mess with your sims if you want. you can either treat them with lots of luck, or you can have an earth quake come around their house and break a lot of stuff, and you can make a sim have super bad luck, and look like he just came out of a dumpster. I think its worth the money if you can buy it. But if your expecting lots of action and adventure, i wouldnt get it. its a casual game that you can be the god of your own town. You can't compare Sims 2 and 3. They're like apples and oranges. Sims 3 has better graphics, an open world, better custom content (try www.mysims3blog.blogspot.com for great CC) and it's just better all around.
