Muscle pain days after workout?
So I recently got a new trainer and while my old one like to take it easy my new one really likes to push me until I have "nothing left in the tank". Even though I was sweating bucket loads and completely drained after the workout there was no pain (adrelane perhaps?) But for a couple of days after there is pain in the muscle areas we worked on. I thought I should mention that he wanted to try circut training and it is my first time doing circut traing. P.S. Please excuse spelling errors etc. English it not my first language.

You're fine. This is most likely due to slightly overworking the muscle. When you work out, there are slight tears in the muscle that occur. Your body then builds muscle and ensures that you have the strength to go through that process again. This is strength gain, and in large doses it can be painful. Some things you can do to reduce the amount of pain in your muscles are: stretching and resting.
Stretching the muscle groups that hurt will bring blood to them, allowing for faster recovery. Resting will also allow the body to focus on recovery.
Finally, you want to make sure you have got a good amount of protein in your diet. This will also allow your muscles to recover faster so you can gain strength.
An explanation why it took such a toll on you is that you hadn't done it before. Next time it shouldn't be so hard!

Everyone goes through this and being sore is a big part of getting stronger, you need to just be careful warm showers or soaking in a tub and maybe also take some Advil or Motrin to keep you
from being sore and tell your trainer about this

Your muscles ache because your new to this
Your muscles take time to react to pressure
Thats why its taken a couple of days for you to feel the pain from it
Use a muscle spray to ease any pain
And in time your legs will get used to this and not ache

Your muscles tightened up to cause that pain and need to be released to get rid of the pain. If your trainer doesn't know how to do this to help you what are you paying him for?
