2012 The Shops @ Target Commercial: What is the song?

The song name is "Me and My Friends" by Tim Myers

I can back up that it is not Noah and the Whale Give a Little Love... I downloaded it figuring the cool part was coming... and it didnt. There's a wasted $1.29!

I have nothing to substantiate this other than being a musician myself and being really good at picking out voices, but I think it's a song by the band "Fun"... it sounds exactly like the lead singer of Fun, Nate Ruess (also was the lead singer of a band named "Format" prior to that). So my guess is that it is probably an unreleased song of theirs (the drumming style in the commercial sounds exactly like the drumming used in the very popular "Fun" song "Some Nights"... Target's a huge company and Im sure that commercial plays nationwide or maybe even internationally... so it's even more likely that they'd use a popular "trendy" band's song like the band "Fun".

I figured maybe with this info/thought, someone else can "finish" the puzzle...

I can assure you, it is NOT Band on the Run. I, too, am wondering what the song is. I've tried looking on YouTube, but can only find the commercial in Spanish, so I can't even look up the lyrics.

It's not Give a Little Love by Noah and the Whale. Lyrics are completely different. Haven't been able to find who it is yet either. Apparently no one knows. Shazam and Soundhound didn't know either
