My friend got evicted?

One time, i don't know if they had a legal leg to stand on, because they maintained the place that they were staying at nicely and were clean people, they were evicted because the guy of my friend had a big argument with the landlord. Is that a dumb reason to evict them, or could they have fought it in court? Sounds like a silly reason to evict them.

Whatever the reason someone gets evicted, the best thing to do is just pack up and move on. There is no point in arguing the point or going to court - waste of time and money.

If they went to court for the eviction then I'm sure the judge felt that it was warranted. Evictions aren't approved unless there was some type of serious problem such as non-payment, illegal activity conducted by the tenant or even if the tenant.

Maybe your friend isn't telling you everything. If you really want to get to the bottom of this then ask to see the eviction papers. It will tell you exactly what happened.

    Business is business

Typically the grounds of a eviction are nonpayment and violation of the lease

Depends on the violation of the lease

If the landlord accepted a good loss chances are your friend must have pissed him off good
