How do you make a good scrapbook?
I'm making my boyfriend a football scrapbook and I've never made one before so I was wondering what kind of things I should put in it and how to make it special:)

To me, good scrapbooks tell a story in words and pictures. What sort of story do you want to tell? Do you want to start from the beginning of his interest in football (maybe when he was little) or do you want to do a specific time period, like this season's games?
Gather your pictures and any memorabilia you have. Memorabilia could be team coloured things such as stickers and posters, tickets, pennants, newspaper items etc.Include a pair of laces from football boots.
Decide how you want to tell the story. Look at the photos and decide if there is a colour theme (I imagine there would be) then buy papers to match your theme.
Add in some punch art, such as punched paper footballs, megaphones, pom poms, football boots, even build some goal posts from cardstock. If the team has a mascot, work out how to make a punch art one or see if there is a shape in chipboard already available and decorate it in designer series paper or paint or ink.
Include the words of the team's chant, cheerleader's chants, team song, victory song.
List the names of people on the team, the coaches, the referees, anyone important to the team.
Include some sport quotes such as some of these:

Sporting quotes, programs from games, tickets from games, pictures from games, a picture of his uniform. Has he had the same number all along. Does this number have a special meaning in the world? A picture of the school, of the field, a football (does he have aspeical game ball he got somehow?), a picture of him with coach, team pictures. Has he been playing football since he was younger? Include some of those, and quotes about how sports help in life.Does he have favorite teams or special players that he idolizes? Fit those in somehow.
Gathering all that information before starting the book can be a lot of work. You can always hand all things you've gathered over to a professional scrapbookers to finish the job. Remarkable Memories designs scrapbooks with photos and memoriabilia provided by you and has it printed, bound into a photobook and shipped directly to you or you can just purchase the digital files and have it printed on your own or use in a digital frame.
