What would be the odds of having a total lunar eclipse of a blue moon in February?

It must be possible. The moon's orbital period is less than 28days. That event would be simply astounding. (And please, I did not answer my own question.)

Not it's not possible. The orbital period may be under 28 days, but the synodic period (time from one full moon to the other) is over 29 days. This is because by the time the moon goes around the earth once, the earth has also gone partway around the sun. It takes about 2 extra days for the moon's phases to catch up.
