Which is the best oil filter to use a fram, a c delco or a wix?
I have used fram filters and I hear a lot of different stories about filters and was just curious.

My personal opinion is the regular orange Fram is garbage. I have taken them off engines and saw the filter element loose inside. This has happened to me more than once. I have also had gasket problems with them and threads that would not thread onto the engine. Their better / premium models are decent.
AC delco used to be good but a few years ago when they were changing manufacturing plants the quality was pretty bad. Hopefully they have solved those issues by now but I don't know that I am going to give them another chance.
Never had a problem with WIX. Napa Gold are made by WIX.

It's been my experience that most any name brand oil filter will do an acceptable job of filtering your oil.
I've found that the same thing applies to the brand or type of oil used.
The most important thing to keep in mind where oil is concerned is keeping it changed per the manufacturer's recommendation in your owner's manual.
The oil filter won't matter much if you run the same oil for 50K miles.
