an empty graduated cylinder has a mass of 68.00g. 50.0mL of liquid is added to the cylinder and its mass increases to 109.5g. What is the density of the liquid?

Divide the increase in mass of the cylinder (full mass - mass of empty cylinder) by the 50 mL, the volume of the cylinder. This gives you density in grams per milliliter.
