How much money to take?
Me and my partner will be going to Krakow for a week in November, how much money do you think we would need for the week. We will be going to Auschwitz but not on the tour, eating out some evenings, snacks for lunch and buying groceries to make our own food some evenings. We will want to go to other museums and attractions about also. Just a guideline would be good, thank you

This is a tough question because you don't say where you are coming from. The exchange rate for US$ average 3.3. So for every dollar you will get 3.3 Polish Zloty. From the euro and the pound the rae is even better. Meals in restaurants can range from 20 PLN to 60 PLN. It depends on how nice the restaurant is. I bought a stuffed bear to send back to the US and it was 79 PLN = $24. There is a wide variety of food and beer is excellent. Servings are generous. 6 PLN is about average for a pint. Buying water gets expensive after a while. Museums run 6-20 PLN with some days being free. You should do very well with 1000 PLN not including hotel.

The currency in Poland is zloty (PLN). 1 USD is equal to about 3.30 PLN. 1 Euro is equal to about 4.05 PLN. You're costs should be about 80 PLN for public transportation between Aushwitz and Krakow, 300 PLN for food, 20 PLN per museum and 60 PLN per attraction. Your spendings will probably yield about
