If someone is regularly borrowing my truck for long trips, how much should he compensate me for the wear and t?

I don’t want to make a profit. I am trying to help out. But he is putting well over 300 miles a week on my truck (I put under 100 miles a week on it).

He seems to think paying gas money is enough. But that truck is old and will break down soon with this kind of mileage and he would not be able to help fix it.

Update:

Thanks, Al. I don't think the weekly set fee will work in this situation, but your answer will be useful for getting it through his thick skull that paying the gas isn’t enough.

Make him change oil and check fluids for you and I would say like gas money plus $50 every week and that's cheap
