do you say God's Kingdom is within us or it is a real government in heaven?

Why is the truth to this answer important to us? Because Jesus taught us to pray for God's kingdom to come, so it is important that we know the truth as to what it is and how it effects us ( Matthew 6:9,10)

First to get the truth we must ask ourselves the question... What is a Kingdom?

Definition - A country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen.

Next it would be wise to examine God's word the Bible for the truth to the matter as 2 Timothy 3:16 teaches 16All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight.

Matthew Chapter 1 shows that Jesus came from the line of David so could rightly become King.

Read how Jesus responded when asked if he was a King...

John 18:37Therefore Pilate said to him: “Well, then, are you a king?” Jesus answered: “You yourself are saying that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.”

So Jesus said he had been born to be King, by doing so he inherited the legal right to the throne of David and also to bear witness to the truth.

In verse 36 Jesus said the following “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”

So here he made it clear that he was not to be a King on earth as a human ruler but rather in heaven he was to rule as King.

In Psalms 89 it talks about the covenant Jehovah made with David.

3 “I have concluded a covenant toward my chosen one;

I have sworn to David my servant,

4 ‘Even to time indefinite I shall firmly establish your seed,

And I will build your throne to generation after generation.’”

28 To time indefinite I shall preserve my loving-kindness toward him,

And my covenant will be faithful to him.

29 And I shall certainly set up his seed forever

And his throne as the days of heaven.

36 His seed itself will prove to be even to time indefinite,

And his throne as the sun in front of me.

Daniel 7:14 And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.

And last let us consider Daniel 2:44

44“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

The Bible is clear and shows God's Kingdom is a real heavenly government, that will rid all human kingdoms and rule to time indefinite.

Do you say God's kingdom is from within or is a real government in heaven?

Why?

What has lead you to believe that it is myth or just mere fantasy? Is it because you are not a religious person but look to science and evolutionary teachings as they seem more realistic to you? It is a real government in heaven awaiting ruler ship over the earth. Jesus taught us to pray for it at Matthew 6:10....

Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.

because with God no declaration will be an impossibility.”

    Luke 1:37

This does not mean Jehovah says just anything. What he says is beneficial and is connected will accomplishing his will.

    And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

    Daniel 2:44

This Kingdom is real and the only thing that will end mans suffering and do away with death, war, poverty and all things that oppress man.

I personally go along with all the scriptures that you mentioned. It makes total sense that there is a selected few "anointed" ones that will rule over the great crowd on earth.

And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years. Rev. 20:4-6

After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. Rev. 7:9

  • The Scriptures also tell us that Jesus will have 144,000, Revelation 7:4, 14:1,3, co-rulers that are also priests of God, Revelation 5:10, and they do judging. So the kingdom has kings, judges, and priests and they are to rule over the earth, Revelation 5:10 and have subjects, Revelation 7:9,10,13-17, Revelation 21:3,4. Sounds like a real government to me.

It's a real government of authority on earth and in heaven.

It's not a government of land and goods, but of people in a religion. They can live in any country that allows religious freedom. Still it is called "God's government, the Holy City, Jerusalem, Israel, the New Jerusalem, Zion, etc"

It has been on the earth since Adam and has been lost a time or two and then set back in place when new prophets are set in place by God literally. These prophets did not call themselves.

Jesus again set it up and called and ordained men and gave them authority to act in his name and in his Father's name. He called apostles, prophets, teachers, etc.

Well, God Almighty and His Son, Michael,

and the myriads, and myriads of angels do not live inside of me.

    So, I say: No.

It is a real Gov., in heaven.

    Righteouss.

    And No Injustice is found.

    I did the studying.

    The searching and researching.

I was convinced, through Scripture alone.

Little did I know, at that time, about asking God for help,

praying asking for His Holy spirit to reveal His truth and grant me understandiing.

    NOPE!

    I just wanted the truth.

About "God Having A Personal Name."

Neither did I know, that I was being drawn by Jehovah.

Jesus said this is the way:

"No one comes to me, unless the Father calls him."

Your scriptures show that the kingdom is within and in heaven. Jesus said, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (Matt. 16:19). Jesus said the kingdom was coming then before those standing there would die (Mark 9:1). Paul said that Christians were translated into the kingdom (Col. 1:13), and Hebrews 12:28 that the kingdom has been received with cannot be shaken.

The kingdom was preached to be coming during Jesus' life and after His death, the kingdom was recognized as there.

It's a real government which will rule over the earth. "Let your kingdom come, let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon the earth." I agree with Purr fect.

Both. There is spiritual warfare in heaven as well as on this earth. The reason being because Christ is returning soon to rule and reign for 1000 years as King of kings and Lord of lords. Since Christ is in me, I get to rule and reign with Him.

Both are correct. If you have Christ in you you are a citizen of God's kingdom and there fore a part of the kingdom of God thus the church members are the kingdom of God on earth.
