Canadian citizen getting a tourist visa in Philippines?

Can I get a tourist visa in the Philippines for a 33 day stay there? I am a Canadian citizen who would travel and stay beyond the maximum 21-day allowed non-visa limit. Can I clear airport immigration in Canada unobstructed with ID photos and full flight itinerary, then apply for the visa while in Manila?

Listen to "Worf" he has ALMOST the right answers. The extension is for 38 days making a total of 59 for the first time after that it is 59 days per time.

Hey Worf what's a day between friends anyway LOL

But anyway you can go to ANY Philippine Bureau of Immigration for the extension it will be done while you wait or you can pay a travel agent a little more to do it if you don't want to waste your time going in person. You will need your passport, copy of the info page, copy of the arrival page, your airplane ticket showing return date, about P5000 & a local friend. You can also do that in Canada at the Philippine Embassy but watch out for the time it takes plus I don't like to send my passport in the mail to a foreign embassy.

    Thanks PAUL (I think :>)

Anyway like you said in your question 21 days is automatic....NOW I have heard it said that you can extend at the airport before you leave, but others have said no you can't....(I have never tried but others say they have done it and others say they were not allowed to do it.)

As a Canadian Citizen (Just like U.S.) you can leave Canada with just your PassPort going to Philippines...you don't need the other stuff to leave...

To enter Philippines you need only your passport AND an on going or return ticket....

Yes you can extend in Manila or Cebu Your first renew is for an additional 37 days.....doesn't matter if you are going to over stay the 21days by 1 day or 30 days (You will pay for the whole 37 days.) about 4,000 pesos or $100 US dollars (ABOUT)...

It won't hurt for you to try to extend there at the airport........you may get it you may not.....

Besides above answers here in Australia you can get the required extension PRIOR to travel by going to the PI Consulate in Sydney and doing it. You CAN get a 59 day entry visa from here. Check with your PI Consulate there. Different countries , different rules but if we can get it I am sure thinking you should be able to as well ??? Worth the phone call anyway???
