[MTG] -Ruling question about lands-?
A couple days ago at friends' apartment, I casted an entwined Rude awakening after putting down my 8th land for the game, then attacked with 7 of the lands. My question is: was I able to attack with my 8th land since lands aren't affected by summoning sickness?

Actually, all permanents have summoning sickness when they first come into play, it only matters if the permanent is a creature. Since you did not control the land since the start of your turn and it did not have haste, you may not attack with it.
The worst part for you is since it is a creature now, you wont even be able to tap it for mana until it turns back into a land at the end of your turn.

Lands may not be affected by summoning sickness, but they still get it. By turning the land into a creature, it becomes affected by the Summoning Sickness already on it, and therefore cannot attack or tap for the rest of that turn.

Everything in the game has summoning sickness so if something is changed to a creature the turn it comes out, it would have summoning sickness and be affected like a creature.

Your pal is off by way of a some distance margin. as soon as you faucet a land for mana, the mana maintains to be on your mana pool till you employ it or till the top of whichever step or part you're at the instant in, whichever comes first. at a similar time because it says "an result that produces mana", it capacity one thing that might produce mana alongside with lands, creatures, enchantments, etc. there is little may desire to cite a rule by way of actuality you have provided the in basic terms right one.
