Does a broadband router use a laser to create the broadband spectrum?
Does it contain a laser within the device?
If only some models do which ones are they?

Somewhere along the lines anything could use a laser these days. As far as I know it is just cable. Fiber optic uses light but is not as fast due to the fact that it has to image information.
