Can a dog get bladder infection?
I have a 5 yr old sheltie and since we.ve been up this morning she has urinated at least 6 times even once on the floor which she never does,. Just asking here as I am taking her to the vet tonight.

Dogs can get urinary tract infections and they are very painful. Breaking housetraining is a big sign you could have a UTI going on, so it is great you are getting her in to the vet. Expect the vet to get a urine sample and probably prescribe an antibiotic. If the infection is severe, you may get a mild pain medication as well. The good news is that with the appropriate medication, she will get well very quickly..

Yes. Dogs bodies are just like humans they can get anything a human can like bladder infections, heart attacks,and cancer. If you think your dog has a bladder infection you might want to take it to the vet to gt it checked but really make shore first cause that can be costly.
