Josh Freeman or Russel Wilson?

Freeman seems the better choice but since you want an argument for Wilson: Seahwaks benched one of the most sought after free agent QBs when they got him, they traded their starter from last year and then gave the starting spot to Wilson who looked mighty impressive in preseason. He's shorter than most NFL Qbs but then again so is Brees and there's no one getting on his case right now

Well, Wilson earned the job in leiu of Matt Flynn, who was given a 12 million dollar contract coming over from the Packers. But, then you have to figure that his coach is Pete Carroll, who tends to favor younger players because let's be honest...he's a college coach at heart.

Then there's Josh Freeman, who had a great year a couple seasons back. However, last year he struggled...and this year the NFC South is going to be tougher than ever with the Falcons being a potential playoff threat, the Saints putting up the numbers that the Saints usually put up, then Cam Newton and Carolina getting better everyday. That, and if Freeman preforms poorly this year he will likely never have an NFL starting job ever again...

The only reason to go with Wilson is if you want to look at what Cam Newton did to the Cardinals in his first game as a rookie.

Although I do not expect that type of performance, Freeman is the safer choice. Not by much.
