Calculate kg of elemental iron with given reaction?

Iron oxides found in iron ores can be reduced to metallic iron when reacted with carbon monoxide. The equation is: Fe2O3 + 3CO ---> 2Fe + 3CO2

a) How many kg of elemental iron can be formed if 16.0 kg of Fe2O3 is reacted with 10kg CO?

b) How many kg of CO2 will be produced in the reaction described in question above?

c) 16.0 kg Fe2O3 + 10 kg CO = 26 kg reactants

11.2 kg Fe + 13.2 kg CO2 = 14.4 products

EXPLAIN this apparent inconsistency in the conservation of mass.
