Hugged a girl with lice, how would I no if I have them?

I hugged a girl bc she was sad bc her grandfather died, after I hugged her she said her friend found lice eggs on her earlier that day. I've had someone look at my head and they haven't found anything, how do I no if I have them or not. It maybe a stupid question but I'm kinda freaking out Plz help

    Your head will start itching. But if your really worried you can just go to the store and buy nix for head lice, and a small comb that has no space between teeth.

    Lice is a sexually transmitted disease and the only cure is abstinence.

    Go buy a nit-comb and use it for several strokes.

    Go to the doctor or buy some special shampoo just for it. (just to make sure) ;)
