I was invited again!?
almost every single year for the past 4 years i have been invited to go to on this student exchange thing (even though that isnt what it is) for 19 days summer of 2013 i can go to Scotland, Wales,Ireland, and England. im already going to ireland with my family when i graduate high school (i dont want it to be spoiled) . i am a homebody i like to be with my family or at least one family member i know most people would be like no but i prefer to be with my parents this is why its so conflicting i want to go its another big opprotunity and it says i get collage credits and stuff but i dont know how i will do being away that long i mean i can go over friends houses and stay the night for a few night but i even struggled when i went to camp for a week (alone) maybe if a friend was going i would be fine but its random people so yea I JUST NEED ADVICE GUIDANCE AND ASSISTANCE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT

You won't know unless you try. You should just go for it you might be surprised and have a blast. You can always go home if you are unhappy but you won't know if you don't give it a shot. When I was younger and went away we did not have cell phones or skype or anything and it was like you were gone. Now though with the net and all it is much easier and you can keep in touch with your family much easier and it won't feel like you are isolated from them . Chance it , you might surprise yourself and enjoy your independence.
Source(s): My daughter was away in Sweden for 3 weeks and we chatted with her every evening on skype and on msg and she made some great friends and had a ball and is planning on going back for a visit soon.She was reluctant to go too but once there she had a great time. - Anonymous9 years ago
