That can be better answered my the school you intend to attend. Some schools allow you to transfer the credits based on the course.
For example
If you take intro to computers and you want to transfer those credits to a new school you must find something of equal value. You would look for computers 101 or an intro computer course also so that you can have the credits applied.
On the other hand if you take courses that are not similar some schools allow you to utilize those credits after your 3rd year only towards a BA degree.

You should be able to keep some of your credits, as the courses sound pretty similar. The biggest factor is accreditation. If your switching between schools with the same regional accreditation than you should be fine. However if your going from a tech school to a university the answer is probably NO.
Just give them a call and see what they will and will not accept. Just about all schools answer this type of question every single day.
