I'm a big fan of H-Town hip-hop, I think people underestimate how influential the sound is. Right now there's a resurgence of chopped N Screwed, talk about lean, and general southern beats in hip-hop, mostly from people outside of Texas (ASAP Rocky, SpaceGhostPurrp/Raider Klan for example) so Houston rap has definitely left its mark and legacy on the game.
