Need a cheep way to get rid of an outdoor black widow infestation before it harms my dog!?
They are all of a sudden everywhere, right out in the open. I have found 8 already! They were not there yesterday... And they are HUGE. I would prefer natural and not poison since this is my backyard and sitting area, as well as dog potty area! Please help!

Shoe...
Squish them with your shoe, preferably with a shoe that has a hard bottom.
Thats what I do when I come across Red Backs [ cousin to the Black widow].

There is a company called EcoSmart that makes organic, plant-based bug sprays that are safe to use around children and pets. Call and see if any of your local stores sell it.

Spray often, Spiders don't like the spray and will leave on their own. They CAN smell it and wont come back if they do. Use any over the counter long lasting ant, spider or roach spray.
